Today I'm very proud to be joining many other crafters to show our support to fellow BIPOC, AAPI, Indigenous, Latino/a/x, Jewish, Palestine communities, and to continue to raise awareness about anti-racism. This is my second time doing this hop and I’m hoping to show others that learning how to ally is more attainable than you may think, and small, realistic steps is how we can bring more people to the conversation. The more people we have fighting for humanity, for equity, for change, then the better our chances are that we will actually see change happen. We are all one humanity and should find a way to show up for equity and equality. Silence, Inaction, and Passivity are detrimental to justice. Injustice anywhere is Injustice EVERYWHERE!
Be sure to visit my Instagram page and follow along in our hop today to see the amazing work of so many others committed to kindness and standing up for others.
To make this card I stamped Jane's Doodles digi Girlfriend and colored the girls with my @spectrumnoir Triblend, trying to reproduce (to a very limited extent) the variety of hair and skin colors of humanity. Then I added a sentiment from Gina K designs Take Care mini stamp set, stamped on GKD Black Onyx cardstock using Versamark watermark ink, and embossed with GKD Detail White Embossing Powder. I cut the panel using the smallest rectangle in GKD Master Layout 1 and adhered the panel to a sparkly patterned paper, then on a white A2 note card.
