Release day at Gina K Designs

The latest Gina K Designs release is here and it’s packed full of goodies: new stamp sets, coordinating dies, a new card kit and a new Master Layout die set!! I’m so excited to share with you a couple of projects I made with some of the new amazing products!

For the first 2 cards I used the Baby Love stamp and die combo, designed by Debrah Warner. It’s the perfect set for all kinds of baby cards and the sentiments are absolutely adorable!!

The first card is a mini slimline and the white panel was cut using Master Layout 7. To make the background, I ink blended Bubblegum Pink and Passionate Pink on 2 separate panels of GKD white heavy weight cardstock. Then I cut the stripes using the die in Master Layout 8, and the little postage stamps with the die in Master Layout 4. I assembled the background alternating the 2 pink colors with some glitter ones for more shine. I added the white panel on top of the striped background and then the 3 postage stamps in different shades of pink. I added a bottle on the glitter stamp, a pacifier and baby socks on the dark pink one, and the sentiment baby love on the light pink stamp, embossed in white. The little elements were stamped in black using Gina K amalgam Obsidian ink and colored with Spectrumnoir Triblend alcohol markers (Magenta, Aqua Blue, Pale Pink and Gold Yellow). I finished the card by adding some Glossy accents on the bottle, to make it look more real.

For the second card, which is a regular A2 size, I used Blue Denim card stock as a card base and then I used Blue Denim and Powder Blue inks to stamp some adorable little feet and hearts on a white panel. Blue Denim ink was also used to stamp the 2 sentiments. The bassinet stroller was stamped in black using Gina K amalgam Obsidian ink and colored with Spectrumnoir Triblend alcohol markers (Ice Grey and True Blue). The flag die is from Master Layout 5 and the rectangle ones are from Master Layout 7.

The third card was made using the Winter Branches stamp set by Beth Silaika. I prepared 2 identical panels, a white one and another in which I ink blended Wild Lilac, Blue Raspberry, Turquoise Sea and Lucky Clover. I finished the colored panel by adding a few drops of water. Then I stamped several of the branches in the same place on both panels and cut a big window in the white one so the colored panel will show underneath. I glued the 2 panels together making sure to perfect align the branches, then I stamped a sentiment on the colored part and glued it on a black panel.
